Who would have thought the one other undefeated team through week 4 would be the Detroit Lions? Of course, the other being the defending Super Bowl champions, the Green Bay Packers. They had an amazing 20-point comeback against the Dallas Cowboys. They were also playing in Dallas. One of the main keys to the Lions' success is a healthy Matthew Stafford. The former 1st overall pick has suffered from multiple shoulder injuries and has had experienced none in the 2011 season. Stafford is connecting extremely well with his star wide-receiver Calvin Johnson Jr. Megatron has been huge in important situations, including his catch to set up the game winning field goal against the Vikings, and his game winning touchdown catch against the Cowboys in week 4. Will the Lions beat out the Packers for winning the division? Will they get the NFC's wildcard spot? With their great play so far, they should be just fine.

New England is confused and they need their minds straight. Well, playing away against a team coming off a win isn't going to help. The Patriots had a bad run-defense against Fred Jackson, and it will be worse against the league's top-rusher Darren McFadden. The Raiders beat the red-hot Jets at home last week and are certainly ready to play at home again. The Patriots lost to the Bills and are trying to figure things out, this is a perfect opportunity for the Raiders to take advantage of thei... Continue reading...

The Washington Redskins have been impressive to start the 2011 season. They haven't been 2-0 since Joe Gibbs' last season in 2007 and Rex Grossman has turned the "Sexy Rexy" switch back to "on." Through the first two games, it seems they've found the second coming of Laurence Taylor in Ryan Kerrigan. Albert Haynesworth's giant frame, ego and contract are off the books due to some remarkable front-office work. The Redskins are on the rise, but they won't win tonight.Miles Austin is out tonight... The Colts obviously can't win without Peyton Manning. He is the face of their franchise and they need him back. We don't know if he'll be the same when he returns this season. We don't know if he'll return this season. We don't know if he'll return at all. However, he does know how to play the game, he plays the game well, and he has the best brain for the NFL. What some teams are doing now is drafting talented QBs before their franchise QB retires, and training him before the franchise QB r... Continue reading...

The Giants tonight are hyped up, especially with home-field advantage. Their pass-coverage defense has been particularly good, however their run defense has been shaky. Luckily, Steven Jackson has been ruled out for tonight's game, so St. Louis's running game threat has been reduced. New York will blitz as usual, putting Bradford under pressure. Their secondary will be there for Bradford's under-pressure passes. Hakeem Nicks has been ruled in for tonight's game, so that will give Eli Manning ... Continue reading...

The Buffalo Bills have combined for 79 points in their first two games of the season. They are looking like a good, solid NFL team. I really like how they are going to lock up Ryan Fitzpatrick for a long-term contract, having him be their franchise QB. Fitzpatrick is obviously getting the job done, Jackson and Spiller are a good two-HB duo, and Stevie Johnson fits in as a great primary receiver in Buffalo. They have a decent defensive secondary, with Byrd at FS. Shawn Merriman brings lights-o... Continue reading...

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the 2011 NFL season. We can all start our usual routines of Sundays. I know that I'm going to do what I do every Sunday: Sit on my couch with my laptop on my lap with my fantasy team up, while watching football. I do this all day. We've got some good games tomorrow, consisting of: Falcons-Bears, the outcome is pretty much up in the air. Steelers-Ravens, classic rivalry. Colts-Texans, without Peyton, can the Colts come out on top? And on SNF, we've got the Cowbo... Continue reading...
