Drop Ochocinco

October 4, 2011
Drop Ochocinco
Although he is popular and entertaining, Chad Ochocinco's room for big plays simply isn't there for New England. He is used as more of a slot receiver on 3rd down. Wes Welker or one of the Patriots' tight ends are likely targets to mainly get the ball. Don't keep Ochocinco in hopes that he'll have a breakout game because he won't. It's not that Chad is going through a slump, he just isn't used as much as Carson Palmer did.

Don't make this mistake before 1:00 this Sunday

September 25, 2011
I don't know why people do this, but when a team loses their starting player, fantasy owners decide to add and start the player's lousy backup. It rarely works successfully. Here's a few guys not to touch:

-Blaine Gabbert - He hasn't started a game yet and will start his first NFL game this Sunday. He is unproven and hasn't given anybody a reason to start him. Don't touch him.

-Mike Kafka - Who? Michael Vick goes down and they play their 3rd string QB who does a decent job. He has no NFL experi...

Time to pick up Cam Newton?

September 18, 2011
Over 900 yards combined in his first two games of his NFL career. Five touchdowns. Last year, picking up Peyton Hillis from the FA list was huge for whoever did. I strongly suggest picking up Cam Newton, especially if you originally drafted Peyton Manning.

One Game Down...One Man Down

September 10, 2011
So after a great game to start the season we already have a significant injury to report on. Marques Colston is set to be out  four weeks with a broken collarbone. Clearly if you were an owner of him you want to pick up Robert Meachem and add him to your team asap! If he is gone I would go for Devery Henderson or Lance Moore. Careful with Lance Moore as he sat out last game due to a groin problem. I have Colston in a couple of leagues but I decided not to drop him. I mean, he is on that line...

A Look At Matthew Stafford’s Fantasy Potential

September 10, 2011
The high profile of the Lions franchise today is going to mean that some of you will swallow anything positive I have to say, and some of you will reject it. That said, I am not here to suggest that the Lions are an elite team, nor that Matthew Stafford is an elite quarterback. My goal is simply to lay out a hypothetical scenario in which Matthew Stafford breaks the top 5 in terms of fantasy points.
All the statistical analysis from here on out assumes he, and his receiving corps, stay healthy...

Let's have a great Fantasy Football season

September 10, 2011

So it is here at last...Football will start on time with no game cancelled (Except the HoF game) So what can we expect this year in the Fantasy world? Well...I'm just going to say it right now. Handcuffs! No, im not talking about Micheal Vick getting caught playing with dogs again, I am talking about the one thing we all hate...INJURIES! I expect we will see them in the early weeks, perhaps to much for comfort. Clearly this is due to players not being able to get their bodies in shape the wa...
